Thank you, University of Washington libraries.
What. the. actual. f*ck. is this?! And why is it ruining my day by being on my computer screen right now!??!
I CAN’T STOP LAUGHING AND I’M IN THE PUBLIC LIBRARY.
This is the best one of these that I have ever seen. Bar none.

Richard Brautigan: In Watermelon Sugar.
Bought this as part two of my reading of David Foster Wallace’s influences. Part one = Renata Adler, Speedboat.
Richard Brautigan is, perhaps, my favorite fiction author (and my favorite poet). David Foster Wallace is my favorite NON-fiction author. I had no idea Brautigan was an influence on Wallace! Life is great!
RESOLVE, by dallas clayton
When you’re outside the building
at two am
and desperate for a better story to end the evening
You should just walk up to her
that one you’ve been eyeing
and ask to borrow her phone
so you can call your mother
and tell her you love her.
