Richard Brautigan: In Watermelon Sugar.
Bought this as part two of my reading of David Foster Wallace’s influences. Part one = Renata Adler, Speedboat.
Richard Brautigan is, perhaps, my favorite fiction author (and my favorite poet). David Foster Wallace is my favorite NON-fiction author. I had no idea Brautigan was an influence on Wallace! Life is great!
